I39 was dispatched via 311 complaint of a residence being used as a commercial property. Upon arriving at residence, I39 noticed no signs of activity or signs that a business was being run. I39 contacted the complainant. The complainant instructed I39 where the information as online. I39 noticed that there was a paying event (40 to 50 dollars a person) scheduled on 8/26 between 5:00 PM and midnight with valet parking. I39 checked ILMS and noticed that the property was a newly built residence. Posted Notice to post or make available the Certificate of Occupancy. Task closed. Referred to Occupancy and Fire Marshall for follow up.
